This $6 Drugstore Concealer Is So Good, It Replaced My Expensive Foundation

At first, I used the e.l.f. 16-Hour Camo Concealer like any other concealer, covering blemishes, redness, and the undereye area. It provided full coverage without looking cakey or feeling too heavy, and it blended nicely into my skin using the e.l.f. makeup sponge. After a successful full day of wear, I decided to try it as a base on my entire face next. Surprisingly, it held up very well.

I have more oily skin in the summer and combination skin during the winter, and the concealer is the best mattifying base makeup I’ve ever used. It’s easy to build on with setting powder, contour, and highlighter. Plus, it’s long-lasting, even in the most trying days. The product leaves my skin looking and feeling flawless, and I’ve sworn by it for a year now — for just $6 a pop, I don’t think I’ll ever use anything else.

With 18 shades to choose from, it’s easy to find the right colors to match my skin. I use Fair Warm as my foundation and go with Fair Beige to brighten my undereye area and nose; doing so gives my skin a little more dimension and color before using setting powder. Not only has this concealer simplified my makeup routine, but it also saves me a ton of money in the long run, which is huge for a beauty lover on a budget.
